Why zoos are good
Can you imagine there being no other animals here on earth well that's what
wuld happen if zoos were not here? Lots of people think that zoos are bad
because you are taking an animal and putting in a place that isn't its natural
habitat. I think that the zoos are good.
Firstly I think that zoos are really good because you can see wild exotic
animals unlike your average cat, dog, fish or hamster they show other
animals like giraffes, hippos, lions and seals these are animals that you don't
see everyday unless you're the zookeeper.
Secondly Zoos provide a really good family outing the auckland zoo has a cafe
and some really good food and it has wheelchair access and you can hire
mobility scooters or wheelchairs. This means that people with special needs
can go to the zoo.
Lastly zoos help breed the animals that can't breed in the wild. They also
provide sanctuary for hurt and endangered species / animals.
Even though some people think zoos are not the natural habitat for wild
animals, the zoos still allow you to view different types of animals we would not
normally see. It's all family friendly and has wheelchair access as well as
providing sanctuary for animals, and highly successful breeding programs.
I really like the zoos and love going around looking at the animals.
