Lorde

During topic I made this slideshow. It is all about Lorde. She is an NZ singer. This slideshow is about the background of Lorde's song Green Light.

Maths Colouring

For maths we did some Christmas maths activities. The first one that I picked was a fractions one that was really fun we had to figure out with fraction was equivalent and colour it to the exact colour. I really enjoyed doing this because it was quite confusing because the picture was upside down. 

End of year mass

Last night we had the graduation mass. I was altar serving for the mass. Altar serving is where you help Father during mass. During the mass the year 6's gave the leadership candle's to the year 5's. It is really sad to see the year 6's go. 

sherbet

Today during science we made sherbet. We used tartaric acid to make it bitter or tart, citric acid to make it sour, baking soda to make it fizz in your mouth, and icing sugar to make it sweet. This was really fun and I learnt that baking soda and citric acid foam when they get wet together.         

Saint studies

Today we completed our Saint studies. I chose to study Saint Kateri Tekakwitha. She is the first woman Native American Saint. she is the patron saint of American people. Her birthplace is New York U.S.

Saint Peters visit

Today the Saint Peter's College band came. They played the theme song to Pink Panther and they played james bonds theme song. There were 2 bands they were the string and the bass. My favorite band was the bass.  

Bird Beaks

During science we used forceps as bird beaks we tried to pick up skittles, gummy worms and paper. We estimated that seihara witch had  a curve and it was pointy would be better for the skittles  but mine was the best for the skittles. I really enjoyed trying to pick up all the things but my favorite part was eating the loleys.

geometry

Today in maths we did geometry. This was the sheet that we did. It was really fun. We had to figure out the faces corners and vertices. I found the worksheet really easy. After we did the work sheet we made shapes. I did the square, a pyramid, a cone and a pentagonal prism.
