How does a plane fly?

Today in writing we did explanation writing and I did how a plane flies.

Roll an Answer

Today in math's we played a game called Roll an Answer. It tests the skills we have learned this year like rounding, place value, addition and subtraction.  My group did a board about sizes of numbers.

My country study

This is my country study that i did for reading. We all had to choose a country and so I did mine on Greece. It has lots of great places to visit. 

It also has cool animals and a lot of history. I hope you like my poster. I did lots of research in books and on the internet to learn about Greece. Today in writing we wrote mantras. They are like rules to live by. 

The storm

The storm 

I see scary lightning.

I smell my clean stuffed monkey.

I hear loud thunder.

I taste the flavor of toothpaste.

I touch my soft blanket.

It makes me feel really scared.    

My Narrative

IALT: write a story to entertain an audience.

I was working in my dad's shed making a sword when I heard a very loud Crash! A huge pink rock came down to earth with an alien monster next to it. The alien monster ran to our shed and pulled out a mace then my dad ran out of the shed with our sword.

He fought the monster but got kidnapped and the monster put my dad in his spaceship . I knew that I had to finish the work my father had started. I smacked the monster with my sword 7 of his teeth got knocked out my sword broke. the pink rock came to me I grabbed it and then I realized that this was only the beginning. I had to go save my dad .

I got on my 60 year old motorbike and started the engine but the motor blacked out. I had to catch the bus I caught the bus to space industries and snuck onto the spaceship while I was stowing away the spaceman found me.

I got to the escape pod and went north for 5 km and saw the alien spaceship lucky there was a ship dock I found my dad and got him on the escape pod and went for the alien monster I found him on the computer playing the dinosaur game when there is no internet on both sides of me were weapons I grabbed a sword and then the pink rock hoved out of my pocket I felt power flowing through my nerves and the sword turned into a super sword gold but light.

I went running to the monster and sliced his face. he was bleeding. he tried to swipe his mace at me but he only just missed. then he whacked my shoulder and I cut of his legs and stabbed him through the chest then he died.

I went back to the ecopod and told my dad to get out of the ecopod and get in the alien monster’s spaceship. Dad and I quickly jumped on the ship and I drove us home safely.

Memoir

The motel was usual enough:

It had: hot sand, cool pool, green bananas, fresh blades of grass, and colourful tree leaves.

My family and I did what families do sitting under the rotunda,

swimming in the refreshing pool, inventing a 'kids club', playing cards.

Having fun doing nothing important.
